Yea generally I use Firefox primarily as well. Some Java apps don't work properly with it though. Only with Chrome.

And on my parents' old net book which has Windows XP it says the newest version of IE is not supported and cannot be downloaded. I get another message saying buy another computer. Can't I just upgrade to Windowns 7 or 8 ? Or can an older computer not be able to support it ? I was just looking into it because my parents say it is giving lots of problems. I upgraded everything else. Flash, Java etc.

Can anyone answer this or direct me to a good website that can help me with this ? Thanks in advance.

I did this as well and I even have some of the lesser known ones but unfortunately I don't think the less popular ones are that good so I just stick with Chrome.

I use Mozilla primarily. But for certain applications I use Google Chrome. I hardly use Internet Explorer as it is prone to pop ups even with my anti virus software installed.

My go-to web browser would be Google Chrome, but I found myself switching back and forth to Firefox as of late. They're both good in their own ways, well, for me anyway. I don't have a problem with either one. Firefox 36 seems to run a lot faster and smoother.

I experienced this too. I think it's because the other two more popular browsers have more people working on extensions so the less popular IE is falling behind and thus getting less effective.

Chrome, like most people. I think it was incredibly smart of Google to create their own browser after dominating the search engine aspect of the Internet. A lot of people think of Google as just the search engine and then they realize what browser they are using along with what site they use to watch videos. They are really smart because Firefox is mostly a minority and IE is a browser but based off of Bing, the incredibly short handed search engine everyone makes fun of. It's Chrome for me.

Chrome is the best for me. Clean UI, a lot of customization options and it's basically the most responsive. I tried Opera and Firefox in the past but neither one was able to compare to Google Chrome.

Google Chrome - the fastest browser that I could find. I have a lot of addons installed on Chrome and it is still fast, it's not glitchy too!

I've been using Google Chrome probably since 2011. It does eat up my computer's RAM, but It's the most convenient browser that I've used so far. Edge looks fine but I'm just gonna stick with Chrome, especially with all the extension that I've installed.

Mozilla Firefox. Originally I was pro-chrome but chrome has a tendency to stop working when it pleases, and the downloader has no resume functionality when it gets interrupted. Firefox is more stable and has more functionality. That and a lot of plugins are firefox only, for instance the "Mega" downloder plugin.

For some reason chrome is the fastest for me even though it shows up as being the most power hungry when I check task manager. Firefox rates a bit lower but it's a lot slower than when I use chrome.

I'm on Chrome right now. I was a dedicated Firefox user and an IE user before that. But once I found Chrome, the rest was history. What're you on?

I WAS a Firefox guy, but when I got my Macbook I switched to Chrome and was very impressed with it. But now I'm noticing that certain sites just don't function that well with Chrome, so these days I keep both browsers open, lol.

I'm using the Opera browser for Android. It is the only browser that allows me to download my school work and watch presentations. Internet Explorer is the worst. I use Google Chrome a lot too.

I'm using Firefox currently. I do however use Google Chrome some of the time. In my personal opinion Firefox is a pretty reliable browser. If I want a fast browser then I use Google Chrome. I also think the silk browser for the kindle is a pretty good as well.

I use Google Chrome, I guess this is the or one of the best browsers out there. I am able to access any program and run any task I need to using Google Chrome.
