Need for Speed Rivals Just picked up NFS Rivals.

I gotta say I wasn't truly expecting much but I do like the graphics op the PS4 for what it is. Pretty decent detail on the cars as well. I love that I was able to get a C7 pretty early in the game as it is and have been enjoying messing around with the cops and players.

I had no idea they used a new attack system on the cars, Shock Wave and something else. I forget. I will tell you that when I was messing around for the first time, Not thinking about it, I hit the Shock Wave and it hit the car next to me and threw it into a wall!

I can tell you that I laughed pretty good at that idea even though I felt bad afterwards. Still, I didn't expect that to happen. I tried doing it against the police as well but it doesn't seem to work so well as it did against the other player.

If that other player sees this and remembers it, Sorry bro. I didn't know that would happen. Still a newbie to this new title!

You might be a bit late, but it seems a ton of people picked it up during the Origin sale. It really is fun, and it has a touch of Mario Kart with the new weapons. It's a healthy mix of both arcade and realistic racing, and the realism is perfect so that it's stress relieving while being fun. I have it on PC, and if you get the chance you should get it on there as well.

Shame that the multiplayer is pretty dead now. Still you should expect a good 20-30 hours of gameplay in the single player story. Have fun mate!

I hope you are going to have a lot of fun with this game. I for one didn't really like it to be honest. The mutiplayer is almost non-existent these days, but expect some solid single player racing in this game.

That game had it's flaws but it still pulled out something good from a series I considered to be dying off. There's nothing left of the multiplayer but there's still a ton of fun gameplay in the single player.

Rivals meshes together my favorite parts of Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and the online world is just the cherry on top. The premise of the rivalry between cops and illegal street racers is okay and keeps things interesting. I am pretty into playing it at the moment.

The single player story is pretty good, although others are right in saying that multiplayer is pretty close to dead. Rivals is a pretty complete game that offers plenty of great features.

You've convinced me to pick this game up when I finally get a ps4. I've always liked NFS titles but just lost interest in it a bit after getting into so many other new titles. I'll definitely be checking this out now, thanks!

I was one to always play these kind of games for the racing and story line. I never cared much for the multiplayer part of the game. Truthfully, Playing against other individuals would make it a ton more fun then playing against the AI.

Knowing it is dead per the post here, Makes it a rather hard and sad situation. Late to the scene it seems. Either way, Race on...

Me too. I think on the next one they are going back to their roots a bit more since I heard the multiple modes and it sounded similar to some of the older games. I can't wait until they release that one.

I never played Need For Speed Rivals. A friend of mine told about it. He told me that graphics too amazing. They introduce so many new cars. SFX are interesting. He plays this games while playing the music in the background.

I played this game once and kind of didn't like it so I stopped. However, you guys here are really wetting my appetite on it.

NFS rivals is a pretty decent in my opinion - nothing spectacular but does provide a somewhat decent story and decent gameplay.
