I know people that cannot ride a bike now and their adults! I learnt how to ride a bike from the age of five and once you learn you don't forget so how old was you?
I would probably have never learned it without help I think. I was pushed by my relatives so I got the feeling of how to balance without having to think too much about the risk. I ended up getting a huge gash in the end but at least I learned to ride. That was before I started school, I'd say from age 4 to 6. I remember I fell off 1 or 2 times and after that it just happened. It's one of the easiest things to learn.
You're lucky as I learned when I was a bit older so I had a lot of fear going into it. I wasn't able to start with training wheels either unfortunately or maybe I just don't remember that stage anymore.I started when I was around 4 when I got a bike for my birthday, I learned a few months after without realizing and I'm glad I did. It's a really fun activity.
I didn't use training wheels either, maybe just at the start but I basically learned how to ride it by falling everyday. One day I just randomly got it and I was really happy! You're lucky as I learned when I was a bit older so I had a lot of fear going into it.
