Driver series should make a return

Not a racing game again, I know, but this game made you race time. Yeah man! Anyways, who here was a fan of the first two games? I loved the first game, have some fond memories playing with my brother and brother-in-law and always trying to beat it. Driver 2 was much of the same, but it felt so innovative for its time. It was the first game to have an open world where you could steal cars and such. I think I'm right about that. It did this before GTA did, that's for sure.

Anyways, who here thinks it should make a return?

Totally agreed. I loved Driver San Francisco in particular, since its set in my hometown.

They have plenty of other cities they could explore.

 

[Ghost Rider]

I loved the first Driver for the PS 1. I think it was really revolutionary and paved the way for GTA 3. Though it's not really a racing game, it definitely requires a lot of driving. The controls were tight and the objectives were very challenging. I do hope that there would be a remake on the next gen consoles.
