What gats said, but before spending some money on those, give Real Racing 3 a try. It's free:
I love playing it in short bursts as well. The mechanic that impressed me the most was the controls and drifting. At first I didn't get it but once I learned how to drift on it properly I was hooked.I never played Need For Speed on my mobile phone so I don't know about that game, but I played quite a lot of Asphalt games and would recommend picking one of them up if you enjoy playing racing games. The graphics are good, the tracks and cars also and the handling is pretty good too. I still have this game installed on my phone and play it from time to time when I'm bored, it helps me to get out of the boredom.
I agree it really is an impressive game for mobile and just as a game in general. I was really surprised at how good the controls were especially when I first downloaded it on my first touch device since I wasn't really expecting much.I think the Asphalt series is one of the best I've played for mobile. I'm talking strictly iOS since I don't own an android, but I'm sure it's pretty much the same. The controls are smooth and responsive if you have a decent phone, and the games are just pure fun.
I've been wanting to try out the older versions of asphalt but it seems like they have been taken out of the App Store. That or I may just have missed it or maybe they just took it out temporarily. By the time I got a touchscreen they were already at asphalt airborne. All the Asphalt games are worth a try and the Need for Speed ones also! Have fun with your new iDevice!
I would also like to think same trying especially all the Ashalt gamesAll the Asphalt games are worth a try and the Need for Speed ones also! Have fun with your new iDevice!
