Who turns off their radio while roaming?

I always find myself turning off the radio while just driving around and enjoying the city. Those radio tracks have just repeated in my head way too many times. I feel that turning the radio off allows me to focus on the actual world rather than immerse myself in the repetitiveness. Does anyone else do this?

Depends on what I'm doing. If I'm just cruising along Route 1 or Route 68, I'll usually have the radio on. If I'm looking for stuff or flying planes etc, I turn it off.

I rarely turn on the radio actually because I think the stations are not very good. Unless there are nice songs being played I just turn them off completely. Loud radio distracts me too much.

Yeah you sometimes do turn them off because it can become a distraction when you are trying to focus on the objective during a mission or the song just gets on your nerves if its not something chill or fitting enough.

Not me. I like listening to music while cruising. I turn it off sometimes when they get too distracting but most of the time I keep them on.

I like the music, but I'd often listen to the talk radio to hear JB Smoov and Lazlow just goofing around. Until I had heard all of those parodies that was definitely my favourite part of the radio. I'm looking forward to them adding a lot more music, because it would be refreshing to heard something new once in a while.

It does get kind of tiring listening to the same track after a while, but I never turn of the radio. Not in the game and not in real life. I'm one of those people who finds silence boring.

I usually tune it out pretty easily, unless it stands out as something really annoying or really catchy. I like the ads/talking on the radio because they always say some random stuff lol.

Me too. Get a nice car and wait for some good songs to come on. Sometimes I'll put off doing something in the game because I want to hear the end of a song.

Oh yeah, I'll put off missions several minutes just to hear the ending of some of my favorite songs in GTA.

I keep the radio on, and I'll even adjust it to a more preferable station if necessary. It's not a huge deal, and the music is decent enough.

I wish they could add new music in via content updates or something. I've gotten so tired of all the music and practically have it all memorized now, which kinda takes you out of the immersion. Or does it actually immerse you more since the radio is so repetitive in real life?? Oh man was this their plan the entire time!?

I almost never turn off the radio, it's one of my favorite features in GTA games, plus it's a lot of fun. I say it's a lot of fun because sometimes I'm playing GTA Online with my brother or some friends and we all start singing the songs over the headset. One time Rihanna's song started and a hilarious chorus of guys singing "only girl in the world" ensued.

I always wait for the good music to come on, I switched between radio station and look for good music lol.

I never turn the radio off while roaming or doing a mission, because I get amused by all the commercials and the songs that play in the background. And besides, silence can be quite boring when driving , either in the game or in real life.

I only turn it off when none of the good songs have come on for a while. I prefer silence to some of those tunes.

I usually turn it off, as I prefer listening to my own tunes than the GTA V radio. I'm not saying that the radio music is not good, I like it, but I spend most of my day listening to my music and I just don't want to stop it when I'm playing.

I don't even listen to the in-game radio station, instead, I physically listen to my songs or radio shows on my phone. The GTA V radio stations tend to repeat itself a lot and it gets boring listening to the same songs or programmed radio shows over and over. At times, I rather just listen to the sound-effects and compare how close it is to how it would sound naturally; it's a shame GTA V developers did not implement more indoor game areas to explore, this would have been a boon to the gaming experience, especially in the acoustic differentiation between outdoor and indoor weapons discharge!

I like cruising around with Radio Mirror Park playing in the background. I just love that radio station. All of that "hipster" EDM and neo 80's music is just really cool.
