What is your favorite Need for Speed on the PS1?

There were five games on the PS1:

The Need for Speed (94)
Need for Speed II (97)
Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit (98)
Need for Speed: High Stakes (99)
Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed (2000)

My favorite was High Stakes. It was the first one to have car damage, and the cop chases were great.

Sorry, I was a Gran Turismo man during the PS1 age
Only changed to NFS after the PS2 had come out.
