Video game entries for the Transformers series have been inconsistent, with some exceeding expectations and others severely disappointing. A new rogue-lite racing game called "TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials" has now been announced.
According to the studio, TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials is coming to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch on October 11. The post described the game as a "unique racing adventure game, fusing arcade racing and robot combat" in a unique hybrid gameplay experience.
Featuring single-player and local/online multiplayer modes, players can race other Autobots and Decepticons, seemingly transforming at will to try to slow down or stop them.
Although the combat appears a bit half-baked, we'll have to wait and see how it plays in our hands. Regardless, it's great to see more Transformers games, especially with such unconventional concepts.
