RPG stats back?

I heard a while back that GTA V will have RPG like stats for each character, but I can't seem to find news about it anywhere. It must have been scrapped or something because I swear I heard about it. Anyways, would you like to see the RPG stats come back this time around? I like the idea of leveling up a character and 3, well that adds even more fun. Leveling up in games adds that feel of growing and expanding your skill set.

So, who here thinks we'll see it? Will it be scrapped?

Everything I've heard says that there will be RPG stats to level up in GTA V. I'd be surprised and really, really sad if these have been scrapped. I even remember reading something recently from Rockstar saying that players might want to use some strategy as to what skills they have the three characters specialize in. i.e. one who's good at flying, one who's good at shooting etc.
