I have only played MXGP2 on my pc. Is there a difference playing it on a pc or console? Is the game the same or does it have different features?

I've only played it on my pc, but I'm very eager to hear what others who have played it on console have to say.

I play on PC personally, but I've heard that from people who have played on console that the version is fine but, I don't think there is any major differences - If you can play on PC, that is how I would play it.

As with any game, if you buy it on either PC or console is solely going to be down to your discretion. personally I rather play every game on console and while I have played games on PC before the console and the Playstation 4 in particular is what I prefer.

I guess the only way to decide what you prefer is to try out the game on both platforms, so if you can try the game out before buying it, then that's your best bet although that's not always possible.

If you play on a console your FPS and resolution are going to be locked down sadly, on PC you can pretty much play without restrictions at the highest levels of quality as long as your computer is able to hold its ground. It depends on whatever you feel comfortable with.

I prefer playing on PC rather than console. It's just my own personal preference. I don't find that one is better than the other, I'm just used to playing on my PC and i'm more comfortable with it.

I think a majority of people that play the game are PC players. Not only are most games simply better on PC because of general advantages, such as unlock FPS and higher resolutions, but the ability to use console controllers with a PC really removes any reason to play any game on console that you can play on PC. The only time I use my consoles are for console exclusives that are impossible to play on PC. If Bloodborne and Red Dead Redemption were on PC, I'd spend all of my time playing video games on my PC, rather than having it spread out across PC and my consoles.

I don't think there is much difference aside from graphics quality but for me the main difference is having access to mods. I think I would prefer PC versions more because mods give the game a little bit more replay value.

No they don't have different features. It's the same game. You wouldn't notice a huge difference and many gamers often choose either PC or Console — a preferences thing — not because the game is better when played either on console or PC.

No matter on which console you play the game, you will get the same features in the game because the developers of all the different consoles is the same. So, no difference in features will be offered.

I have played this game on my PC and I must say the experience was really wonderful because of the big screen. That is one of many advantages of playing the game on the PC.

Yes, you are absolutely right. The graphics never changes but it actually looks better on PC but the control is one drawback. It's better to play the game with a Joystick. I always play this game with a joystick

That is good to know. There was a time, because of the structure of the hardware the games had to be different. Very often you would here people that would try a game on another platform and complain that one or other thing was missing. Glad to hear that both consoles and PC are on the same level when it comes to gaming.

Console is more comfortable for me anyway

I agree. I think my preferences are dependent on the type of game I'm playing. If it's a really fast paced game, such as shooters or racing games, I prefer playing them on PC, simply because I find it easier to concentrate and react as fast as possible. For slower paced games, like Civ or Fifa, I find it so much more enjoyable to play with a controller hooked up to my computer, which makes it a console hybrid in my eyes. There's nothing like being able to sit back and enjoy a game, instead of sitting upright and focusing on your hand placement on your keyboard and mouse. For me, the biggest appeal of consoles is being able to lay back and just chill with a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard.

That might change soon.

According to an article I read, for a PC to handle VR graphics they have to be 7 times more powerful than they already are. Taking into account the fact that the average gaming PC is more powerful than any console VR gaming on consoles may not be all that immersive unless they get some huge upgrades. This is why I believe eventually more people will be playing their games on PC.

I think certain games are better on PC personally. However, for a racing type game I would always go console. I have never played this on the PC before but have on my Xbox One and I love it. I will say turn based games are best for PC. The console also takes out any performance issues if you have an older computer and other things like that. Console all the way on this one!

I'm a huge PC gamer, but I will have to give it to console. Having grown with racing games on console this is honestly the most intuitive and comfortable way to play these games, not to mention you usually wont have to worry about not meeting system requirements for a game (unlike PCs, which are far more customizable)

There we go, those were the words that I was looking for. Intuitive and comfortable (I could have thought of comfortable, so mainly the other one) are good ways to describe why I prefer the console. I am getting used to the PC a little more lately, though, but I still like the console overall.

It can go either way, there are computers that can out perform consoles. I think that just as long as you feel comfortable playing. I personally am more of a pc guy.
