This new trailer from Codemasters GRID Autosport focuses on endurance racing, one of the game’s five styles of racing, which also include street racing, touring cars, open-wheel cars, and drifting.
The video intercuts footage of real endurance drivers talking about the sport and footage of the game, showing cars fighting for position and struggling to stay consistent as drivers stick in the long endurance races throughout the night. Endurance races can last six, twelve, even 24 hours.
“The long races and the hard fighting all through the race, that’s the most fun part,” says Aleksander Schjerpen, an endurance racer with Century Motorsport.
The game is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC June 24 in North America and June 27 in Europe.
