NASCAR 14 Need some tablet racing game suggestions!

I'm going to be doing some traveling for business and will probably only have my droid based tablet with me as it works best with the way my office at work is set up for mail etc, etc. I'm looking for a few suggestions on cheap racing games from googleplay. I have a few but most of my gaming is on a console. Doing it on my tablet is new for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A "droid based tablet" doesn't tell us anything about your actual tablet. Which version of Android is it running? How powerful is the processor? Asphalt 8: Airborne is an incredible racing game for mobile platforms, IF your tablet can actually handle the processing requirements.

I got Asphalt 8 and love it! Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I also got a few others and have really enjoyed the new droid and the google play store is packed with options and easier to search than for my mac/ipad in my opinion.

I know this is kind of an old thread but if anyone's wondering: Asphalt 8, Real racing 3 and Angry Birds Go! are some really good options if you want to play racing games on an Android device.

This thread is quite outdated, but if you're still waiting for recommendations, then I would suggest Drag Racing, Real Racing 3, Angry Birds Go and Hill Climb Racing all of them are available to download for free.

My favorite mobile racing game is asphalt. It's very well made and the controls are surprisingly comfortable. I was very skeptical about mobile games at first but this game made me realize how good mobile games have gotten.

The Asphalt games are reputed to be the absolute best racing games available on Android. They are quite large though, so it depends on how much storage space you have on your device. Real Racing (2, I think) I also found quite good. Pocket Rally is also quite good but you have to pay for the full version. 3D Drift is also another one of my favourites.

Agreed. I'd go as far to say that it is a home console grade game, even. I'll have to check out Drift now thanks!

The Asphalt games are probably the most popular, and they are pretty good so there is a reason for that. The one that I have been playing lately that I like a lot is Driver: Speedboat Paradise. It is a nice change of pace from racing cars and the water presents some interesting challenges. I would recommend it if you want to get away from cars for a little bit and try something new.

I've tried that or at least I think I have. If I am not mistaken the controls are a bit more clunky especially compared to asphalt but still the game I played with was still very much fun to play with and definitely a good break from e average car racing games.

I always go onto the itunes store on my ipad and search for free racing games. I always go with games that are rated 3 stars or above. Right now I have a few games that want me to pay for upgrades, but I just ignore them and race.

I agree. Asphalt really is the best out there and I think all other mobile racing games have been trying to emulate them ever since but can't compete. The only downside is that the file size it much too big but it's worth it.
