Is GTA V up to your standards?

For essentially an open-world chaos simulator, it completely lived up to my standards, if not exceeded them.

Going forward - I'd love to see a more in-depth multiplayer system, but that's simply splitting hairs.

I don't think we're too terribly far off of a MMO styled GTA game for consoles.

Yes, it definitely is.

GTA V has expanded the standards of open-world games and it is definitely one of the best games yet. I never really expected anything like the world GTA V has created, so it definitely exceeded my standards.

definitely I was hooked right from the beginning. It really improved from its predecessors both story and gameplay wise. The characters were really dynamic and I can honestly say I liked all three. Even the sub characters were really enjoyable. It actually exceeded my standards.

I'd say GTA V is probably the best GTA since the original GTAs from the ps era. I'm not sure why they haven't just made a GTA mmorpg with how much time and effort they put into making entirely new games, if they got it onto a engine that was capable of being updated they could just suck us drive for a monthly sub and microtransactions.

I have to concur with Ameno. It's amazing that RockStar hasn't even tried an MMO version. I guess their GTA:V online was their "beta" so to speak to see how well it'd work. And it passed with flying colors.

I'd expect a "Grand Theft Auto Online" sometime in the future. They made bank off the game series so far, and I know they could rope in an entirely different audience if they just went the route of MMO, but I don't see that happening.

Compared to what I saw before I had it in my hands it proved even better than what I expected! Amazing game!

Yep, they made a hell of a good job with GTA V. It didn't expect it to be this good. Of course I didn't expect it to be bad, but this game is close to perfect in many things. However, I'm quite disappointed with the fact that they didn't release a PC version of the game until April this year.

The game well surpassed what I thought i was going to be. The size of the world from the mountains to cities is immense, along with the amount of content in game, and story lines that intertwined. I love it!
