How long did you take to get the hang of it.

On the forum there are people that find this game extremely easy while there are others that complain how hard it is. Did it take long for you to get the hang of things? It didn't take me too long, I had played some motorbike games before so I already had notion of what I could do.

I think for me it took me a couple of days as the controls can be confusing at times and you have to watch where you put your fingers and also it can take time for you to make sure you don't make mistakes when playing the game. I found out that I would tend to put the fingers in the reverse key by mistake so did take me time to understand the controls, and also it took me some trial and errors as it gave me the chance to see where I am going wrong. I reckon that for some people it can be easy and they don't have to take their time as they understand how the game works in the first place and also it can be a nice feeling.

Not long at all, but then again that could be due to the fact I went through the awkward "motorbike controls" entry barrier. God bless my childhood!

Honestly, although the game is somewhat hard to learn and takes quite a bit of time to get used to. It didn't take too long for me. I personally went through all the tutorials as well as watching other tutorials on youtube so I certainly made the effort but it was definitely worthwhile.

It is definitely going to take me a while until I finally get to handle it properly, by saying this, you're absolutely right, it's a hard game to get along with for many people and I am one of those, however, I am trying really hard to get good at it really soon, looking forward to it.

I've played some Motorcross games and though the handling in those games was slightly different, it doesn't take long to get the hang of any Motorcross-type game. And since MXGP2 is a simcade it shouldn't [for everyone] be as hard as a sim racing game nor as easy as an arcade racer. Should take at most two or three days.

It took me a couple of weeks to be good at the game, but after a few days I was pretty decent and managed to get respectable times on laps. It's really hard to master MXGP2 though.

OR sometimes longer, it all depends on the player's experience, it really took me like a week to get along with the handling, it was really odd.

I got used to it within the first day. I didn't find anything too weird with regards to the controls or anything but that's not saying that I was immediately good at the game. I did take a few days before getting good enough to place first on the difficult races.

I think it took me about 1 or 2 hours to get the hang of it, but I can definitely see how some people take longer, it's not an easy game to learn, but I played the first game and other similar games so it came pretty natural to me.

Everybody thinks differnet about this game. Actually, I was much faster than anyone else on this forum and that is why I get the hang of it very easily.

Same here. I don't know why people find it difficult but in my opinon, the control was very easy and that is why I learned it very fast.

That's what I have noticed, who ever played the first game was able to start up with MXGP2 quickly but who is new to the game is having more difficulty. I think that ideal is to start with all the aids on when you start playing for the first time.

Congratulations, it's such a good thing to hear, by the way, how long did it really take you to get used to it? Because it takes a while, indeed.

I guess the physics and control just take some getting used to. I can understand because on some car racing games I have to play for a while first before I completely get into the groove of that particular game.

Most people can master the game in couple of days because this game is easier as compared to the other games (my opinion).

I think he is faster because he spends much more time playing the game than anyone else on this forum. You can learn the proper controls if you spend 2-3 weekends playing the game.

I barely think you can get used to it with just three weekends, I could believe it if we were talking about two full weeks or so, that's a lot, but it's too short for many people, especially new players.
