“It’s a fighting race. It’s not just a speed race,” says Fabrizio Giovanardi of Motorbase Performance in this trailer for GRID Autosport.
Giovanardi is obviously talking about real-life touring races, as are the other racers in the video who get enthusiastic about aggressive smash-mouth racing, but Codemasters has filled the rest of the video with clips of slam-bang, aggressive racing to illustrate that their new game takes this concept to heart.
GRID Autosport will have 100 routes across 22 locations and a variety of different types series dedicated to different types of cars, including “Touring Cars, GT, Single-Seaters, Muscle Cars, Drift, Supercars, Hypercars, Time Attack, Destruction Derby, Prototypes.”
The game is coming June 24 to North America and June 27 to Europe.
