After two years of Gran Turismo 7, developer Polyphony Digital has released a new update that includes six new cars and an improved physics simulation.
Gran Turismo is one of the best racing games currently available on PlayStation. With a simulation that mimics real-life car companies, some manufacturers even use Gran Turismo as a concept car simulator. Gran Turismo has established itself as a classic franchise and even released a movie. This year, Gran Turismo was selected as an official Olympic Esports event, further consolidating its status as a racing sim game staple.
According to a blog post on PlayStation, Gran Turismo 7 update 1.49 will add six new cars to the roster, including:
*The Ferrari 430 Scuderia (2007),
* BMW M3 (1997),
*Subaru Impreza Rally Car (1998), and
*The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 (2008).
In addition, the update lets players take these new cars for a spin on the revamped Eiger Nordwand race course. This update also includes new World Circuits events. It will be available starting July 24 at 11pm Pacific Time.
