Did you pick up GTA V for PS4/Xbox One?

So, the day finally came, and GTA V came out for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It'll be out on the PC in like a month. Have you picked the game up yet? What do you think about it? The improvements made were pretty big, and the first-person mode is a highlight for the series.

I did not, because I don't own a Xbox One or PS4. But I do have the xbox 360 version and I've played it quite a bit.

I'm still trying to figure out whether to get the PC version or not. :D

I would have to say...go ahead and DEFINITELY get the PC version when it comes out. Like the newer consoles, it's going to be a huge step up, perhaps even more so compared to the new console versions.

I've wanted the PS4 version ever since they announced it at E3 with that gorgeous video, but I'm going through some serious financial /housing drama, so it'll have to wait until I sort my life out. Sometimes I envy teenage gamers who have parents to buy the games for them.

I didn't spring for the PS4 version. I'm going to wait for the PC version as I believe it will be the definitive version. I have the game already on PS3 and have enjoyed it. Not going to buy a game three times, not even a game as good as GTA V. I must say that the game is quite nice looking on the 'next-gen' consoles, and I have played Shadow of Mordor and The Last of Us on PS4 and found them to look quite nice too (although if you concentrate you can see the pop-in). Perhaps if they have GTA V as the free game for PS+ users next month I'll play it, but until the PC version comes out, I'm sticking with the PS3

I have played on the PS3 and now the Xbox One. I would really like to try the PC version but my computer is not up to par.

I have bought it for my PS4 and although it's not a very big difference between this version and the PS3 one, the PS4 version is definitely more enjoyable and designed a little bit better.

I'm eventually going to buy it for the PS4. I want to put it off as long as I can because I don't really want the PS4. I like free to play. The only advantage I know of, anyway, is having the option of 1st person

No i didnt. The reason is I personally got tired of the profannity and nastyness of the GTA game. I did not want to fill my brain up with that smut

Having played GTAV on the PS3, having picked it up on the day of release I was actually waiting for the release of the PS4 version before i bought a PS4.

A lot of people are saying that its not much different but while the actual game itself might not be, i think its definitely worth upgrading to the PS4 version.

The whole game just feels slicker and more polished and I think anybody who decides to switch from the PS3 to the PS4 wont be dissapointed.

I had it on PS3 and never bothered buying it again for PS4, I decided to buy a different game with the money instead. My mate bought it though so game round his or he lends me it for a bit :)

Probably not going to get it on the PS4. I can't even pay for the PS4. It's pretty expensive, even after a year or so of being released. Is there really that big of a difference in game play between the PS3 and PS4 version?

Gameplay-wise, there isn't much different about GTA Online. There are certain exclusives and extra features for PS4/Xbox one, but a lot of that applies to singleplayer more than anything else. It's the same *general* experience.

The first person mode is probably the biggest difference between the two versions, in fact as far as new content goes it's the only difference.

Like I said though, the whole game just feels like a new experience, it plays a lot so other, looks beeter and the price isn't as high as what it was now either so it's definitely worth getting if you haven't already.

PS4. I still think that the first person mode in the game needs a lot of work though.

Agreed. I wasn't sure if it was just me that needed to get used to it but quite a lot of people have said the same. It just feels very clumsy and awkward to use. I'm sure a DLC update can fix these issues though so we'll see how it goes.

I have the GTA V on PS4 because I don't have xboxone. The graphics are amazing as always and the next gen something is amazing as well.

I've got it on the Xbone. I'm a little worried that I have not got all the content that was supposed t0 come with the enhanced version and to returning players. Only some of it seems to be there. I seem to be missing the wildlife photography missions and the stock car races. Also the Dodo sea plane random event. I had the game on Xbox 360 but did not complete it, and I'm not a member of the social club. Could that be what the problem is?

I got the game for PS4, and I had it on PS3 as well. I honestly wasn't thinking of upgrading, as I was content with my PS3 copy of the game, but all of my friends migrated to PS4 and I would have been left with nobody to play with.

Most of the people I know picked it up for the PS4. I preferred the PS4. The Xbox just wasn't appealing to me and seemed more like a entertainment package than gaming. Plus, I'm kinda a Sony fanboy anyway.
