Despite its anticipated "2024" release date, information about the sequel to Assetto Corsa has been scant despite the announcement in April. The Steam listing suggests the game will launch this year but without any new release date details.

Nevertheless, it provides reassurance that EVO will feature more cars than just the GT-class racers that are popular among racing games“Assetto Corsa EVO will include cars from different classes spanning across years of motoring history. From road cars, classics, hypercars, and race cars,” the listing reads

In addition, Evo will feature a proprietary, high-performance photorealistic engine from KUNOS Simulazioni, as well as a physics engine which simulates asphalt performance under changing weather conditions using a "new mathematical model.".

According to KUNOS, "first-class" support for VR and triple-screen configurations will be available for players with more advanced driving setups. But we already did mention that last week. However, it is now a confirmed feature.
