Nice to see Sony entering the VR market as well, and with a fantastic racing title to boot. I can't afford a VR system but I'll definitely keep an eye out for reviews on this game.
Probably Underground, since it was the first game to offer such in-depth car tuning, with paint jobs, rims, neon, vinyls and the like. Pretty revolutionary in setting the tone for later racing games.
I don't really use such sites anymore, but back then I really liked Neopets, since there was an added pet-raising aspect and social aspect aside from the game arcade.
Looking at how well the remastered Final Fantasy titles have been selling, I think remastering old games is a very viable market aimed towards nostalgic players.
I think it's quite simply not as exhilarating and fun to people. Also children and teen make up a large population of gamers, and they're far more into FPS/MOBA games. Even if they liked racing/cars they'd be more likely to play arcade racers like Need For Speed rather than realistic sim games.
